Music is a huge part of my life especially recently, and I’ve often talked about the power of music in film and its impact on the audience. But music can also influence the storyteller or filmmaker — in this case, me. There were a bunch of songs I listened to constantly during the development of this short film. If you get a chance to listen to the playlist, you’ll get a better sense of how I was feeling during that period. While writing, shooting, and editing, I had this music playing on repeat — and it subconsciously impacted my creative process. That’s the power of music honestly.
